BOSTON -- The Boston Police Department is conducting an internal investigation into allegations by a pregnant officer that she was repeatedly raped by a fellow officer who threatened her husband's life. Both officers were placed on leave and ordered to surrender their weapons for their own protection after they appeared in a Boston courtroom Thursday where the alleged victim explained her case to a judge. She asked him to extend a restraining order against the other officer. Both officers are members of the department's Special Operations Unit. NewsCenter 5 is not identifying either officer because one is an alleged rape victim and the other has not been formally charged with a crime. The female officer claimed she was first assaulted by a male colleague following a shooting competition in Connecticut. She said she was forced to have sex with him several more times after the trip, claiming he used threats to keep her silent."He could shoot my husband in the head from 500 yards away and no one would know," she told the judge. The male officer denies the allegations.
