BOSTON -- It was a rude awakening for some guests and monkeys at one Boston hotel on Wednesday when the building was evacuated.Images: Monkeys EvacuatedThe Liberty Hotel on Charles Street in Boston was evacuated Wednesday morning after elevated carbon monoxide readings were detected.Some of the 300 displaced guests included crew members who were working on the movie "The Zookeeper," and their monkeys, Crystal and Squirt.There were no reports of any humans or monkeys getting sick.Fire officials said a small boiler leak caused the elevated readings. The leak was fixed by early afternoon."The Zookeeper," which stars Kevin James, has been plagued by animal-related issues during its filming in Boston.On Wednesday, the U.S. Department of Agriculture said it would launch an investigation into the sudden death of a giraffe named Tweet, one of the animal stars of the movie. The 18-year-old animal, which had no known health problems, collapsed in its enclosure while feeding and in the care of his trainer last week.(Read Full Story)Earlier this month, a man was injured when he fell into a concrete ravine after sneaking into a closed movie set for "The Zookeeper" at the Franklin Park Zoo.
