Police Say An Unidentified Sleep Aid Was Put Into Drinks

BOSTON -- A Plymouth man is being held without bail, charged with using a sleep aid to spike his wife and 18-month-old daughter's drinks, police said.Sean Dolan's wife called police after she found her daughter ill, said police. Their investigation found that Dolan had allegedly been putting sleep aids into the mother and daughter's drinks on more than one occasion, police said.The Patriot Ledger reported that Dolan was arrested Sunday night at the family's home. He has been charged with distributing food with a harmful substance and will return to court on Thursday, said police. His arraignment was on Monday, police said.Police have not indicated what brand or type of sleep aid Dolan is accused of using or why, said the Ledger.
