BOSTON -- Brookline police are asking for help from witnesses as they investigate crash involving a bicycle and a car that left a young woman dead.

Police said at about 7:20 p.m. on Sept. 9, a bicyclist was struck by a car on Longwood Avenue near Coolidge Corner.

The bicyclist, Tracy Milillo, 22, a Holbrook, N.Y., native and recent graduate of Emmanuel College in Boston, suffered a serious head injury in the crash and was taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital. She died on Friday.
