Traffic Alert: Loose Manhole Cover Damages Cars

BOSTON -- State police were investigating reports that several cars were damaged by a loose manhole cover on Route 2 in Lincoln early Wednesday.

No one was reported injured.

The disabled cars had to pull over to the side of the road on Route 2 eastbound near Tracy's Corner, causing traffic backups, troopers said.
