Twenty-seven-year-old Lisa Kelly was described by neighbors as quiet -- but someone who would speak up when the circumstances called for it.

"She was like a watchdog," neighbor Chris Duquette told The Providence Journal. "We had issues with people speeding up the street, she'd go up to them and say, 'There are kids in this neighborhood.'

"She was a sweet girl," said Duquette, who got to know Kelly through Kelly's daughter.

Kelly lived in Swansea, Mass., and worked as a yoga instructor and therapist.
