Maria Stephanos, a FOX25 anchor, collapsed in the station's Dedham newsroom Thursday and was rushed to the hospital, according to the Boston Herald.

Stephanos had complained about not feeling well and asked coworkers to call 911 because she couldn't feel her hands. She was taken to a local hospital and re-hydrated. Her husband told the Herald that his wife, who runs 5 miles in the morning, called him earlier in the day to say she felt like she was going to pass out.

He said his wife "sprung right back to life" after she was placed on an IV.

Stephanos anchors FOX25 News at 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. as well as FOX25 News at 5 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. and has been with the station since 1997.

NewsCenter 5 and TheBostonChannel.com will have more information when it becomes available.
