BOSTON -- The search to find a boater who disappeared in Billerica five days ago ended Sunday morning when his body was recovered from Nutting Lake, police said.

Roman Muzychen had been missing since Wednesday night, when he fell overboard while he was traversing the lake at about 8:30 p.m. Rescue teams scoured the water for several hours, but they were unable to locate him and suspended the search until Thursday morning.

Muzychen's body was eventually found Sunday at about 11:25 a.m. Search crews from Lowell, Bedford and the state police assisted Billerica authorities in the effort to find Muzychen using multiple sonar devices, cameras and dive teams, police said.
