BOSTON -- A bottle of wine valued at $20,000 that was stolen from a Hopkinton liquor store last week has been found.Police said a woman in her mid-20s entered Hopkinton Wine & Spirits on Wednesday and distracted the clerk while two men went to a cooler at the back of the store and took four expensive bottles of wine, including the pricey 1945 Mouton Rothschild, WCVB-TV in Boston reported. The bottle was found unopened by Boston police officers. The 64-year-old wine got a perfect score of 100 from Wine Advocate magazine when it was recently sampled by expert Robert Parker, who added that he chose the score, "only because my point scale stops at that number.""It is an extremely high quality, well-respected, long-living wine," said store owner Clelland Johnson. "It's still drinking well. That's why it is so expensive. For some reason, this particular vintage, the grapes that were grown that year just happened to have a long life. I couldn't tell you how many bottles exist on the face of the earth."The thieves also took two 2000 vintage bottles and another bottle from 1992 from the cooler, which holds the Hopkinton Wine & Spirits collection of rare wines. The 1992 was priced at $300 and the 2000s cost $875.
