The manager of a Gardner cell phone store was arrested last week after police said she helped her boyfriend rob the business while another employee was working.

Gardner Police Department
Police said Cherisa Gazaille, 24, of 208 St. Nicholas Ave., was managing the One Solution Wireless store on Pearson Boulevard when it was allegedly robbed by her boyfriend, Bradford J. Piers. Police said Piers entered the back door of the business and forced a female employee into the basement after he was contacted by Gazaille, who was working in a back room.

Piers, also 24, of 208 St. Nicholas Ave., is accused of stealing $1,900 from the register. Police said he was wearing a dark, hooded sweatshirt, sweatpants, orange gloves and a black nylon fabric over his face to conceal his identity.

Officers canvassed the area looking for the robber but could not locate him. After re-examining the store and speaking again with employees, detectives secured evidence and statements that implicated Gazaille and Piers, police said.

The couple will be arraigned Monday in Gardner District Court. Piers will face charges of unarmed robbery and larceny over $250. Gazaille will be charged with unarmed robbery and conspiracy to commit a crime.
