Victim Taken To Boston Hospital In Critical Condition

Friends rushed two men to a hospital after they were shot in Lowell on Saturday morning, police said.

One of the victims was in critical condition after he was struck in the head in the shooting at 33 Howard St. He was moved from Lowell General Hospital to Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston for treatment.

A second man was hit in the leg in the 3 a.m. shooting. He was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital in unknown condition.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Lowell police at 978-937-3242 or leave an anonymous tip at 978-459-TIPS (8477).
