BOSTON -- A crash involving an elderly driver sent a woman to the hospital with life-threatening injuries Tuesday afternoon.
An 83-year-old man from Malden will face charges in the crash and possible revocation of his license, according to Woburn police.The crash occurred in Woburn at the intersection of Old Cambridge Road and Russell Street.The man and his 84-year-old wife were in traveling in a Toyota Camry when his car crashed into a Chrysler Sebring driven by a 78-year-old Woburn woman, said Woburn Police Sgt. Robert GiannottiThe driver of the Chrysler was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital with life-threatening injuries.The Malden couple was taken to the Lahey Clinic in Burlington.
