In Stoughton, a condominium complex was damaged when it was hit by lighting shortly before 5 p.m. No injuries were reported in the incident.

Lightning also touched down in Foxborough during a violent storm that dumped chunks of hail onto the town and flooded several streets. Residents at one Foxborough home told NewsCenter 5 they canceled a graduation party after the storm blew over their outdoor tent.

A slow-moving storm that passed through central Norfolk County and parts of Bristol County also dumped more than 2 inches of rain in less than an hour, prompting flash flood warnings from the National Weather Service. The warning remained in effect until 6:30 p.m.

The National Weather Service also issued severe thunderstorm warnings in several towns, as moisture coming in from the west mixed with warm weather from earlier in the day.

The storms are expected to pass through the state by the evening, leaving patchy fog and some showers overnight and into Sunday afternoon.
