Police responded to a call for shots fired in the area of 71 Pleasant St. at about 1:15 p.m. The teens, who were identified by witnesses, were arrested in front of 77 Pleasant St.

Witnesses positively identified Michael Lopes, 17, of Dorchester, as the teen who had a silver handgun in his front waistband when he ran into the school yard, and Reggie Gomes, 17, of Dorchester, as the individual in the company of Lopes.

Police said that they recovered ballistic evidence in front of 153 Stoughton St., and a Boston police K-9 located a silver revolver underneath the porch of 79 Pleasant St.
