At about 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, a man, later identified as Ricardo Lopez, 41, of East Boston, approached an officer at the Dudley Street MBTA station and asked, "How are you, papa?" the police report said. The officer said the man continued to try to make conversation, and began looking at his groin saying "I want that," the report said. Lopez then started rubbing the officer's elbow, the report said.

The officer then asked Lopez to follow him across the street, and told him he was a plainclothes officer. Lopez then said "I want that" and groped the officer's genitalia, the police report said.

Lopez was arrested and charged with indecent assault and battery.
