Fingerprints belonging to Philip Markoff, the man accused of killing one woman at a Boston hotel and robbing another days earlier, have been found at the site of a third robbery at a Rhode Island hotel, a police source told The Associated Press.

A law enforcement official said that fingerprints pulled from a wall at the Holiday Inn Express in Warwick, Rhode Island, where a stripper said she was assaulted by a man she met through Craigslist, belonged to Markoff, according to The Associated Press.

Markoff, 23, was charged Tuesday by Boston police with the killing of a 25-year-old masseuse at the Boston Marriott Copley Plaza hotel last week. He also charged in connection with a robbery at the Westin hotel several days earlier. Police believe Markoff arranged to meet JuLissa Brisman, who was tied up and fatally shot at the hotel, and the second woman by answering advertisements for massage services that they placed on the Web site Craigslist.

Markoff also sent text messages while he was at the Rhode Island hotel, according to the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to discuss the case.

Markoff has not been charged in the Rhode Island robbery, but Rhode Island Attorney General Patrick Lynch said in a statement Wednesday that Warwick police had developed "promising information" about the April 16 robbery.
