Tom Brady Returns To Action Monday, Sept. 14

WCVB-TV/DT Channel 5 will be the place for New England football fans to watch Tom Brady make his highly-anticipated return to the field, as the broadcast home for the Patriots season opener versus the Buffalo Bills Monday, Sept. 14 at 7 p.m.

The game is part of ESPN’s Monday Night Football doubleheader that will kick-off the NFL’s celebration of the 50th anniversary season of the AFL. The San Diego Chargers and Oakland Raiders will square off in the second game. All four originally began playing in the inaugural 1960 American Football season.

WCVB President and General Manager Bill Fine said, “Just like everyone else in New England, we can not wait to see Tom Brady back in action for his first regular season start since last year. We are thrilled to have this, extra special 50th Anniversary Celebration, season opener on Channel 5.”

WCVB will air complete coverage all day long from Gillette Stadium.
