BOSTON -- A man in his 30s was killed Wednesday in a shooting on Trotter Court in Boston's South End.

Police were called to 18 Trotter Court at about 8:11 p.m. Wednesday and found a black man in his 30s inside the first floor hallway suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man's name was not released.
