Missing Man Found Dead In Parking Garage
Death May Have Been Suicide, Police Say

Halifax, Mass. -- The body of a Halifax, Mass., man who had been missing since New Year's day was found in a parked car in Quincy on Sunday, according to the Norfolk District Attorney.An MBTA police officer found the body of Douglas LaMay, 38, at about noon while patrolling a parking garage, officials said in a statement.Based on a preliminary investigation, police do not believe LaMay's death was the result of foul play. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday to determine the exact cause of his death.LaMay was last seen on Thursday afternoon wearing sweat pants and a winter coat, and Halifax police reported that his credit card had last been used at the Cumberland Farms in Halifax at 3 p.m. Thursday.LaMay’s family had earlier set up a Web site with his picture and description to help in the effort to locate him.
