Police have found a Swansea, Mass., woman and her son who disappeared while returning home from Thanksgiving dinner Thursday night.

Joanna Gracia, 78, of Swansea and her son Stephen Gracia, 51, were returning home from Gracia's daughter's house in East Providence, R.I., but never arrived, police said.

Friday morning the Gracias were found in Westerly, R.I., police said.

The Gracias left East Providence about 4:45 p.m. in her brown 2003 Toyota Camry and relatives believed they planned to take Route 6 home to Swansea.

Police said Stephen Gracia is mentally challenged and may not speak to someone he does not know.

Police had asked for the public's help in finding the two, but did immediately provide details on why they failed to return home after Thanksgiving dinner.
