BOSTON -- A Brookline man was charged this week with raping a 15-year-old girl he allegedly met through Craigslist.

Sadik Tokgoz, 40, was arrested Sunday and charged with rape and abuse of a child under 16. The victim, who told police that the rape happened on Oct. 28, said that she chatted with Tokgoz after she put a posting on Craigslist.

Officials said Tokgoz met the girl in Coolidge Corder and took her to a liquor store, where he bought vodka. The victim said that he lured her into his home and raped her.

Tokgoz was arraigned Monday on one charge of rape of a child and held on $25,000 bail. He was told to stay away from the girl, have no contact with anyone under 18, surrender his passport and not use his computer for anything other than employment purposes and e-mailing people he already knows, according to the District Attorney's office.

He is scheduled to return to court on Nov. 26 for a status hearing.
