BOSTON -- A criminal investigation is being conducted into how liquor was obtained for an underage drinking party that led to the death of a 17-year-old Plainville girl, according to the Sun Chronicle. The body of Taylor Meyer, 17, a senior at King Philip High School, was found on Oct. 20 after an exhaustive search after she disappeared from a party near the former Norfolk airport.Police are trying to determine who gave the teenagers the liquor for the party, the newspaper reported. It's against the law in Massachusetts to buy or give alcohol to anyone under 21.The teens attended the party on Oct. 17 after the homecoming game. Meyer left the party at some point and was reported missing the following day. Meyer's friends thought she had gone home, and her family thought she was with friends. While officials said that she apparently drowned and medical tests are still pending, there was no foul play in the teen's death.
