Bank Forecloses On Cape Cod Timeshare

Attorney General's Office Calls Case 'Ongoing Investigation'

Navigator Beach Club in Dennisport was supposed to be a year-round timeshare. Dozens of people paid thousands of dollars. But developer Robert Reposa took their money and never delivered.

Now Team 5 Investigates has learned the bank has foreclosed on the property and Reposa himself is under investigation

The project at 405 Old Wharf Road was supposed to be finished two years ago and include luxurious amenities like an indoor pool and sauna. But that never happened.

Reposa never properly registered the development as a timeshare. Then he stopped paying his $2.2 million mortgage. Finally, work stopped.

The bank-threatened foreclosure was delayed last March when Reposa claimed to have an investor. But that apparently didn't materialize either because Team 5 Investigates has discovered the foreclosure deed has officially been filed with Barnstable County Registry of Deeds.

Team 5 first reported on Reposa earlier this year after timeshare owners at Beachside Village in Falmouth complained he owed them thousands of dollars for unfinished deals and unpaid utility bills. Team 5 also discovered he owes tens of thousands of dollars in unpaid state taxes.

Despite at least 50 complaints, the attorney general's office won't comment because this is an "ongoing investigation," which is discouraging and frustrating to the people who at this point have little chance of ever seeing either their money or timeshare.
