Police: Students Took Friend's ADHD Medicine
All Students Conscious, Alert, Fire Officials Say

BOSTON -- Four Fitchburg students were taken to the hospital after taking prescription medicine at school on Tuesday.A nurse became concerned about four juniors at Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School at about 11 a.m.Officials said they had apparently taken a friend's medication for ADHD -- attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.Fitchburg fire officials said the students did not suffer any injuries and walked to the ambulances, but were taken to the hospital as a precaution. Police are still investigating the matter. The school's superintendent said the students may face disciplinary action.
