Boston Celtics legend Bob Cousy has been bounced from the Celtics broadcast booth, the Worcester Telegram reported Friday.Cousy, 80, had worked as a television analyst for Celtics games for 34 years.Photos: Cousy Through The YearsComcast SportsNet made the decision, Cousy said."Some low-level executive called me," Cousy told the newspaper. "Basically said that they decided to do two-man booths and they no longer needed my services. I said thank you very much, have a good year and I hung up on him.""The Celtics, in my judgment, said and did all the right things," Cousy said. "Comcast can hire or fire anyone they want. But after 34 years, I thought I needed a little more handling."Comcast said play-by-play will be handled by Mike Gorman. Celtics legend Tommy Heinsohn, 74, will provide game analysis for home games. Donny Marshall will replace Heinsohn for away telecasts.
