The two men and the woman's husband were credited with saving her life on the MBTA tracks as they all waited for trains.

Witnesses said the woman collapsed and fell onto the tracks at the busy Downtown Crossing stop in the heart of Boston.

"I was right there by the pole just waiting for the train, looking at my cell phone and I heard something fall. I didn't know what it was," rescuer Jonathan Delva said.

The woman was out cold, facedown on the ground and close to the electrified third rail with a train on the way.

That's when three men jumped into action.

"I heard a thump and then I ran right over to the corner, to the edge, and that's when I noticed the lady in there, and I just jumped in there and helped her and grabbed her out," Lou Agri said.

"All of three of us basically picked her up and threw her on the platform and then we were able to jump on the platform and the train showed up. It was close. A very close call," Delva said.

The unidentified woman suffered some cuts and bruises and complained of chest pains, but she was said to be OK.
