BOSTON -- A woman swimming naked off Revere Beach caused quite a stir Tuesday night, according to the Lynn Daily Item.

Several witnesses watched as Susan Stauss, 34, got naked, left her clothes scattered on the beach and went into the chilly water near Mermaid Avenue.

The air temperature at the time was 64 degrees, and after 30 minutes of being in the water, fire officials went out on Jet skis to bring her ashore.

Stauss was placed under arrest and charged with disorderly conduct. After her arrest, police gave her a blanket to wrap around herself because she was sitting topless in the police car, the newspaper reported.
