An accused robber, who is confined to a wheelchair, is scheduled to face charges Monday after police arrested him in Quincy.

A man told police that he came home at about 7 p.m. Sunday and found Joaquin Alicea, 26, inside his apartment at Faxon Commons with a handgun, according to the Patriot Ledger. Alicea allegedly fired a gunshot that hit the hallway and asked the victim where "the money" was.

The man climbed from his seventh-floor apartment balcony to a floor below and yelled for help. Police arrested Alicea and Nyhad Jaber, 17, in a nearby apartment. They will be charged with armed assault and robbery with intent to murder, burglary and other gun charges, the newspaper reported.

Alicea told police that he was confined to a wheelchair after a previous shooting in Boston.
