"She hit a grand slam. It was incredible what she did tonight. I think her message was strong, and I think people have a pretty good understanding of who Sarah is now," Massachusetts delegate Thomas Hodgeson said."She exceeded my expectations. I think she touched the hearts of many Americans across the country. She is the real deal, and I think that is what this is all about. It's about character. It's about change. She represents something very different from what we have seen in the past," Massachusetts delegate Karen Polito said."On behalf of all the women in this country -- from the single moms, and I was raised by my grandmother and mother -- we saw a strong woman take that stage tonight. We saw a woman positively knock it out of the park," Massachusetts delegate Matt Marchese said."I think she is going to connect with American families. There was something there tonight. This is the speech everyone in the room was waiting to hear. They heard from her tonight exactly what they wanted in a candidate," former Lt. Gov. Kerry Healey said.
