BOSTON -- A man who threatened to kill himself was found in Framingham Wednesday, several hours after schools were forced to go into lockdown mode.The Walsh Middle School, Potter Road School, King School and Blocks Pre-School, located at the King School, were locked down at about 11 a.m. The schools are in the Nobscot section of Framingham.
Uncut: Schools Locked DownPolice said that they were searching for Kevin Donovan near 9 Joseph Road. Officials said that he jumped from a vehicle and fled into a yard, according to Framingham Police Department Lt. Paul Shastany said.Donovan was found safe late Wednesday in the area where officials were searching. Officials said that he would be charged with resisting arrest and possession of a dangerous weapon. He was allegedly carrying two knives and a pair of handcuffs when he was found, police said."The schools are safe. The neighborhood has been notified. We have been receiving reports from callers of sightings that we are checking out," Shastany said.Police said earlier in the day, Donovan's wife called police earlier Wednesday to tell them that he came home intoxicated and made threatening statements.Donovan was taken to MetroWest Medical Center, where he was undergoing an evaluation.
