An 18-year-old New Hampshire man has been accused of making a false police report about a robbery in a Hollis home.

On Sunday, police took a report of a robbery that happened at a home on Rideout Road, in which a photograph was found inside the alleged victim's home of a young man seated in a chair. At the time, police were told the picture was taken during the robbery.

Police later determined that a robbery did not take place, and that Matthew Elliott, of 68 Rideout Road, provided false information. He's charged with one count of false reports to law enforcement.

Elliott was released on $1,000 bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on Sept. 10.
