A former Stoughton District Court security officer was sentenced Thursday to two years in the House Of Correction for distributing drugs around the courthouse, the attorney general’s office reported.

Keely Johnson, 32, was convicted on two counts of possession with intent to distribute a Class C drug and drug violation near a school or park.

Johnson will serve two years for the drug violation near a school or park and three months for one count of possession with intent to distribute. The sentences will run consecutively, with Johnson serving three years of probation for the other count of distribution.

The three-day trial ended Wednesday as Norfolk Superior Court Judge Kenneth Fishman convicted Johnson of the crimes.

Johnson was arrested in July 2006 after she twice sold Percocet pills to an undercover state trooper. The attorney general's office received a tip that Johnson was selling prescription narcotics on Stoughton Courthouse grounds in July 2006.

An investigation found Johnson’s co-defendant, Joseph Iantosca, 52, sold Johnson the pills the undercover officer purchased. Iantosca changed his plea to guilty June 25 and will begin serving a two-year sentence in September.
