Manny Ramirez is one of several Latino superstars who helped grow Red Sox nation "en Espanol." But die-hard Latino fans, even his Dominican countrymen, grew tired of his antics.

NewsCenter 5's Jorge Quiroga reported that on the day after the trade the feeling is: No mas Manny being Manny.

"He betrayed us. He went to the other team," one fan said.

Among many Boston's Latino Red Sox fans, the trade is bittersweet.

"The way he acted, he embarrassed everybody. The way he talked, he said so many things he's not supposed to be saying," fan Ramon Gomez said.

"The last couple of games he was playing he was acting like he (didn't want) to play," fan Victor Lara said. "That's sad because, you know, he's got to play and give support to his teammates."

"I was more upset at him when he didn't play against the Yankees and then when he didn't participate in the Latino youth recognition day for kids that we have at Fenway," said Alberto Vasallo III, publisher of El Mundo.

Wilfredo Martinez said he was a great player, but if he doesn't change his attitude, even his biggest fans will desert him.

There was one fan who was happy to see Ramirez go.

"I am a Yankees fan. I guess that's better for us," fan Clarimar Nivar said.
