BOSTON -- The mother of a girl who was allegedly kidnapped by her father in Boston asked him to bring her "princess" home, in a statement and video posted on the Boston Police Department's Web site."Although many things have changed, you will always be Reigh's father and I will always be Reigh’s mother," Sandra Boss said in a statement. "We both love her dearly and have only her best interests and well-being in our hearts. I ask you now, please, please bring 'Snooks' back. There has to be a better way for us to solve our differences than this way."

The FBI announced Thursday that he may have cut the girl's hair short so that she resembles a boy."And Reigh, honey, I love you and miss you so much. Remember you're always a princess," Boss said.As detectives look for the father and daughter, they are also trying to turn up anything about the man's past.Police said Rockefeller has had several aliases, and officials said they can't find a Social Security number for the 48-year-old, a driver's license or any real work or education history."People like that are very controlling. They may do it in a subtle way, but they are not happy unless they are in control," said former FBI profiler Brad Garrett.Police said they believe Rockefeller manipulated his way through his getaway -- Aileen Ang -- a casual acquaintance. He allegedly paid her $500 to drive him and his daughter from Boston to New York. She said that Rockefeller told her they were going to Bermuda."He's able to con money out of people. He's able to talk them into buying things for him. They feel good about it. It's really an amazing thing to watch," Garrett said. The FBI also said that Rockefeller may have dyed his hair to an orangey-red color.
