A Milford neighborhood is trying to figure out who keeps dumping pairs of pantyhose near a school bus stop, according to the Milford Daily News.

Residents said that the caper has gone on for more than two years near Geneseo Circle --a dead-end street. Laurie Warich said that she found 43 pairs in one day alone.

Milford Police Department Chief Thomas O'Loughlin said officials have talked to one person of interest, but the department does not have the resources to dedicate a full investigation into the incident, the newspaper reported. He said that so far, the only real crime committed is littering.

Neighbors said that it happens about three to four times per week. Most of the pairs of pantyhose are black and "queen sized," neighbors said.

Some residents are considering using video cameras and walkie-talkies to catch the culprit.
