UPDATED: 8:26 am EDT July 9, 2008

A South Boston woman is scheduled to face murder charges Wednesday in connection with a fire that killed two young sisters.

Nicole Chuminski, 25, will be arraigned in Suffolk Superior Court following her indictment last week on two counts of murder, two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and a single count of arson.

Officials said that Chuminski set the April 6 fire that claimed the lives of sisters Acia and Sophia Johnson.

Chuminski was arrested by Boston police after officials said she used an accelerant to set the blaze, killing the two children and injuring their mother and brother.
