Police are searching for a 16-year-old lifeguard who has not been seen since she left work Sunday.

Sarah Cramer left her work at about 10:20 a.m., 20 minutes after she got there, and was last seen walking into the woods toward her home, police said.

Police said there are no signs of foul play, and they suspect that she may have run away. Police said Cramer told a friend she was going to.

A state police helicopter and Wayland police were searching the area all afternoon Sunday.

Cramer is about 5 feet 3 inches and 130 pounds. She was wearing a black sweatshirt, jeans and yellow sneakers, police said. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information can contact Wayland police at 508-358-4721.
