A fire erupted at the Café Moxie late Sunday morning, Tisbury police said.

One witness said the Bunch of Grapes Bookstore, which is directly next door, also caught fire. The bookstore's Web site said it will be closed for the "foreseeable future" because of the fire.

Police said they got a call at about 10:30 a.m. and responded to the fire on 48 Main St.

Police said they don’t yet know what caused the fire or the extent of the damage.

There were no reports of injuries.
