A Revere-based chiropractor was charged with four counts of indecent assault and battery after he was accused of molesting two of his female clients earlier this year.

Jeffrey Keller, 53, of Peabody, pleaded not guilty to the charges at his arraignment Tuesday in Chelsea District Court.

Officials allege that Keller had inappropriate physical contact with two women in his office. One, a 26-year-old Medford woman, contacted authorities earlier this month and disclosed the alleged abuse. The report was similar to an earlier incident disclosed by a 37-year-old Lynn woman.

In both instances, the women were in Keller's office for physical therapy when the alleged abuse took place. The Medford woman had been involved in an automobile collision and the Lynn woman had been suffering from back problems; both had been seeing Keller for several weeks before the alleged incidents.

"As with every case alleging indecent assault and battery, we're determined to learn the truth and committed to supporting the victims," Suffolk County District Attorney Daniel F. Conley said. "In addition, if there are others who were victimized but were unable or unwilling to come forward, my office is committed to supporting them, as well."

Conley asked anyone with additional information to call Revere police detectives at 781-286-8203. Keller was released without bail and ordered to stay away from and have no contact with either of the victims. He was scheduled to return to court on July 16.
