A school bus and at least two cars were involved in an early-morning crash in East Boston early Monday.

There were no confirmed reports of any injuries, but some witnesses at the scene told NewsCenter 5 that at least one passenger on the bus was taken out on a stretcher after the collision and one man at the scene said his son hit his head in the crash and was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital.

The accident occurred at 60 Leyden Street near Boardman Street and the East Boston Expressway before 7 a.m. It is not clear what may have caused the crash. The driver told NewsCenter 5 his brakes seemed to be malfunctioning.
