BRIDGEWATER, Mass -- An East Bridgewater man was arrested and three homes evacuated after more than a dozen explosives were found in a home.NewsCenter 5's Gail Huff reported that Michael Ambrose, 41, was accused of possessing explosives after police received a tip that they may find bombs in his East Street home.

A bomb squad detonated the devices early Friday morning. More than a dozen pipe bombs were found in the man's home Thursday night, according to police. There were no reports of any injuries.Ambrose is scheduled to be arraigned in Brockton District Court Friday on multiple counts of possession of explosive devices.One year ago, police were called to the home when Ambrose suffered a gunshot wound. He told police that he accidentally shot himself. At the time, police revoked his permit to carry a weapon. The permit does not apply to explosives.
