Grenades Prompt Neighborhood Evacuation

Bomb Squad Called In

The bomb squad was called to a Lawrence home on Thursday after grenades were found.

A man selling his deceased parents 28 Lynn St. home found the World War II-era grenades inside.

The neighborhood was evacuated as a precaution.

The grenades were X-rayed and determined to be harmless.
