BOSTON -- The driver of a pickup truck was injured Wednesday when a home heating oil truck overturned onto the pickup in Harwich.
Tanker Overturns On Pickup TruckThe crash happened Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Great Western Road and Lothrop Avenue in Harwich.
The pickup truck driver was taken to Cape Cod Hospital with unknown injuries. The driver of the tanker was not hurt.Some of the more than 10,000 gallons of heating oil that the truck was carrying leaked out of the tank. Crews used sand, dirt and foam to contain the spill.The area was closed to traffic.
