Two masked men bound five people with duct tape in a storage room during a robbery at a craft store in Brockton early Monday, a local paper reported.

The robbers rounded up four A.C. Moore employees and a delivery truck driver at about 4 a.m. and forced the store manager to open the safe, Brockton police Lt. John Crowley told the Brockton Enterprise. At least one of the robbers had a gun, police said.

"The thieves got into the safe and had access to the money. Approximately an hour later, one of the females was able to free herself and she called 911," Crowley said.

One of the robbers hit an employee, but no serious injuries were reported. It is unclear how much money was stolen.

The store is located near the Westgate Mall off Route 27 in Brockton.
