It's not a list many people would aspire to be on, but it's not without its distinction.

Forbes.com has listed Boston mob boss James "Whitey" Bulger as one of the world's 10 most wanted fugitives.

The magazine and Web site usually compile lists such as the world's top billionaires or biggest companies but it released its latest top 10 Friday, highlighting terrorist leader Osama bin Laden as No. 1 on the most wanted list.

Bulger shares his spot on the list with South American drug smugglers and Russian, Indian and Italian mobsters. Forbes consulted with law enforcement agencies around the world to compile the list.

Forbes.com estimates that Bulger, 78, is worth between $30 million and $50 million.

He fled the Boston area more than a decade ago after being tipped off that he would be indicted on federal racketeering charges and has been pursued by the FBI ever since.
