FAIRHAVEN, Mass. -- One person was killed and two were injured after being stabbed outside of a party at a Veterans of Foreign Wars Post on Friday.Joshua Fitzgerald, 30, of Fairhaven, died Saturday morning from multiple stab wounds. His brother Patrick Fitzgerald, 25, and Robert Williams, 35, both of Fairhaven, were taken to Rhode Island Hospital with serious injuries.Fairhaven police responded to a call of a large fight around 10:40 p.m. at the Fairhaven Veterans of Foreign Wars Post on Middle Street, where a "Hip Hop Night" was taking place.
They found Williams lying in the street with serious stab wounds.Police said Joshua and Patrick Fitzgerald were driven to the hospital by their brother Joseph Fitzgerald.Fairhaven police are investigating what led to the stabbings.
