A Worcester man was seriously injured early Saturday in a crash in Harvard, Mass., State police said.

The single vehicle crash occurred on Route 2 west near exit 37 at about 4 a.m.

Curtis Caldwell, 25, lost control of his 1997 Honda Accord and “crossed over all westbound travel lanes and collided with the guardrail on the left side of the road,” State police said in a statement.

Caldwell was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the car. He was flown by helicopter to Boston Medical Center for the treatment of serious injuries.
