Machete Attack Reported Outside MBTA Stop

Victim's Injuries Not Life Threatening

A person was attacked with a machete at the Government Center Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority station Thursday.

Officials said that the incident started as a fight -- possibly gang-related -- inside the station and then spilled out onto City Hall Plaza. Police said the victim's injuries are not life threatening.
