BOSTON -- The safety of baby bottles sold in Massachusetts will be in the spotlight on Beacon Hill Thursday.

Lawmakers and advocates will release findings of a new study that show BPA, a synthetic plastic used to make some bottles causes serious health problems, from diabetes and obesity, to cancer.

Advocates are pushing for a bill to be passed that would require a substitute chemical be used to make the bottles here in Massachusetts.
