A man wanted in connection with a number of bank robberies was arrested Tuesday, according to the FBI.

Angle Robles, 33, was wanted in connection with the Dec. 31, 2007, robbery of the Bank of America at 410 Brookline Ave. Police said Robles entered the Bank of America and approached the teller with a note demanding money and asserted that he would start shooting if his demands were not met.

Robles was also wanted for questioning in nine other bank robberies.

He was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon in Jamaica Plain.
